Skywatch Meteos

The meteos is the all singing version of the Eole. Giving temperature and windchill with a large easy to read display. The Swiss compass on the lid is very useful including an air bubble to center to make sure that the compass is level and accurate.

All for £60.00, Luvly Jubly

A big advantage of the Meteos and the Eole is that the anemometer itself is very forgiving in the direction that you need to point it. For those not wishing or unable to point the instrument directly into wind, this is the unit for you. Also dead brill is the threaded base so you can mount the unit on a tri-pod.

Windspeed Measurement

Multi directional impellor eliminates the need to point the instrument directly into wind.

Center display: Current windspeed
Top display:  Maximum windspeed or Average windspeed (from last reset or power-on)
Vertical bars:  Current windspeed Beaufort scale
Units of measurement:  km/h, knots, mph, m/s.

Temperature Measurement

Bottom display shows temperature. You can select any of the four modes to be displayed continuously or cycle through each one, each displayed for 3 seconds.

Current Temperature: Constantly updated
Wind chill factor:  Giving an idea of the temperature felt by skin exposed to the current wind speed.
Min temperature:  Calculated since the instrument was turned on.
Max temperature:  Calculated since the instrument was turned on.
